The house is a Contemporary tri level building. Entry Foyer and Study are on an intermediate level leading half a level down to the Living Dining, Kitchen and minor Bedroom wing and half a level up to the Main Bedroom and Retreat. The clients specifically asked for a completely open plan house with high ceilings and a clean lined appearance with no cornices or bulkheads other than a few specifically designed “nooks” for furniture. The clients also requested a modern look for the outside with parapet roofs with concealed gutters, rendered brick walls and large windows to take advantage of the views and sun and specially designed canopies over the windows.

Other features include:
•Large timber deck opening off Living Room with glass balustrades
•Small balcony opening off Bed1/Retreat
•Open tread timber staircase with glass balustrades
•Extra high ceiling in Dining Room
•Tall silicone jointed window in Dining Room at front of house
•Folding glass doors opening off Living Room
•Double Glazing Throughout
•Recessed motorised blinds in Dining Room
